Timberwolves: Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Ready!

Yes, the PTO needs you!  The parents, students, and staff of Fox Creek Elementary are the fuel that enable the PTO to work for our school.

PTO Mission and Purpose

The main purpose of the PTO is to be that helping agent between the parents, students of Fox Creek Elementary, and the school community.  PTO plans activities and events like the Fall Festival, Carnival, and Assemblies.  PTO promotes open communication between the administration, teachers, and parents. The objectives include:

  • Promoting and enhancing the educational opportunities available for all children at Fox Creek
  • Providing curriculum and social enrichment activities
  • Providing support to administration, faculty, and staff

PTO meetings are held monthly, on Monday evenings, at 6:00 pm in the IMC.  Babysitting is provided.  Please see the calendar for specific meeting dates.  All parents are welcome!

Company Grant Programs

Do you volunteer a large number of hours at Fox Creek in the classroom or with PTO?

If you volunteer at Fox Creek and your company has a grant program for non-profit organizations, please consider Fox Creek Elementary PTO as your choice of organization to receive grant money. With some companies, volunteers can even request specifics on what the grant money should be used for through PTO.

A great example of a company grant program is the State Farm Good Neighbor Grant Program.  The State Farm Companies Foundation awards a $500 grant on behalf of each eligible State Farm® associate (active employee, agent, or retiree) who volunteered a minimum of 40 hours per calendar year to an eligible nonprofit organization.

Not sure if your company has a grant program for non-profits?  Feel free to check into it and thank you to all those who spend time volunteering at Fox Creek!
